February 2019

February was a reminder of why I switch from a 100% stock portfolio to a bond/stock portfolio primarily in ETFs and Mutual Funds. I sold all my shares of UNIT for a lost of almost 50% thanks to a settlement that didn’t go in favor of its parent company. With that proceeds I bought ~23 shares of FSMEX and I added $525.00 into my portfolio and bought 13 more shares of EPP. Other than the craziness from UNIT, I received $99.50 in dividends and at the end of the month my portfolio’s value only dropped by $150.00.

This month’s dividends: $99.50
Year to date dividend payments: $99.50
February 2018 vs February 2019: -$41.09 / -29.23%
Q1 2018 vs Q1 2019: –
Forward annual dividend: $1,237.39
Portfolio’s value: $20,700.99 (-$150.00/-0.719%)
